Deepak Kumar is a researcher and analyst with more than 25 years of experience spanning productivity analysis, socioeconomic trend analysis, technology market research, and policy as a macro connect. He previously held senior research leadership roles at International Data Corporation (IDC) Asia-Pacific, where he was part of multicountry research programs across the region. He has provided advisory services to enterprises and intergovernmental organizations, and is widely quoted in business, news, and trade media. His current research focuses on informal-sector productivity, inclusive development, the gig economy, AI and economic transformation, and the structural forces reshaping developing Asian economies.
